Hello from northern New York

Greetings all, I just joined today. I like the looks of this forum, it seems very active. I live in Saranac, NY (not Saranac Lake) a small hamlet on the Saranac River in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains; the far northeast corner of New York state near the Canadian Border. My wife and I are retired. I've been shooting since 1952. I have six film cameras that I shoot: Minolta SR1, Minolta XE-7, Minolta X-700, Nikon FM2, Olympus 35 RC and Contax II. Four cheap plastic 35mm that I pick up free at the last day of church bazaar sales, plan to try some lomography with them. In the spirit of clear disclosure, I also shoot digital, have two Nikon DSLRs and two Canon point and shoot pocket cameras.

Cows, barns, tractors, ducks and geese on the river, flowers, old cars, deer, etc. I can also travel to Plattsburgh, a small city on Lake Champlain which is rich with opportunities.
