I am retired and my wife says I have a case of terminal couriosity. I am always looking for new process's and ways to express my artistic need.

Hello from Wisconsin.

If you a Yooper, I know parts of it well. I had the "pleasure" of driving from Milwaukee to Sault St. Marie once a month in a previous job. Beautiful up, just beautiful.

this is the place

It always stimuates me - oh - I will have to try that.. sort of thing. Enjoy your time here before you become addicted.

A few months ago the 'alt process' bug bit me after getting some nice cyanotypes in the postcard exchanges.

So far on that urge -the chemistry is now in hand ready to mix, the contact frame on standby, the lith film for enlarged negatives in hand, reversal processing experimented with to go from neg to neg without using 2 pieces of lith, and the last bit is a contact printing box - I have been buying black light compact flourescents 2 at a time on 'canadian tire money' as it accumulates.

I hate to think of what I would be up to if I was retired. Presently I am a busy dad with two young sons, and a busy wife to boot. I do know that I would be printing cyanotypes by now, because I would be able to be home between 10 and 2 when the sun is at its best, as opposed to getting rolling on this hobby after the kids have been put to bed.

Hello and welcome from western Massachusetts.

Welcome from a few miles away in a different country.

Well, summers and any other available time, I am in Harbor Springs/Cross Village area. For now I am in Dearborn. Hoping to relocate for good to the north in the not too distant future.

My family used to vacation in Manistique in the early 70's on the UP. The only thing I really remember was the wooden Paul Bunyan in Frankenmuth?

It has been an especialy busy month. But, I am in Traverse City. Anywhere near?

Ah, TC. A cut in pay for a view of the bay. The REAL north begins just on the other side of the bridge, though. I spent the better part of my first 27 years not too far south of TC. Beautiful area.

Welcome from a transplanted Michigan native. Spent close to 40 years there. I own some property just North of you towards Suttons Bay in Bingham Twp. Looking to relo back there as soon as this crazy economy gets back on track.
