Hello from NJ

Hi,

I am just returning to film photography (photography really, as I never got into digital) after a 10 year hiatus. I used to shoot mostly color slide and B&W in 35mm format.
Back in the day I used to take classes in college just to have access to a darkroom, but that is becoming more difficult to do; therefore, I am currently trying to put together a darkroom. I have film processing capability, but I am missing the paper side. I found this community a few weeks back and I have been lurking ever since.
I am amazed by the amount of activity in this community (especially since film photography was supposedly killed off by digital), and by the generosity displayed by its members.

There are always deals to be found in the tri-state area on enlargers and such. So, keep your eyes open and you'll have a full darkroom in no time!

Yeah,

I keep on looking on Craiglist and such, but I'd rather get it from someone who is in the field rather that someone who is selling something they inherited. But either way I will get there.

Welcome CCLA, Im also from NJ.
I recently bought all I need, for now, from craigslist, and setup a makeshift darkroom in a room at my parents house.. I dont have the space in my apartment.
So far, having fun....

where are in you Bergen County? I have lived in Hoboken, Jersey City, and Bayonne (none of them in Bergen but closer to it). I was in Palisade Park this past weekend for a kids b-day.
