Hello from New York

Hello everyone,

My name is Ryan, and I teach instrumental music in the Adirondack mountains of New York. The photography bug bit me about a year ago when I found a Yashica FX-3 at a garage sale for $8, it has been all downhill since then! I soon found a Rolleiflex, Canon AE-1, Bronica ETRSi, and have been having a great time with them all. I'm also an active hiker, and there have been plenty of times my pack was weighted down with more camera gear than food and water.

I figured it was time for the formal introduction, because this site has been an awesome resource these past few months! I found a Beseler 67s enlarger off craigslist a few weeks ago and have been reading all about the printing process. My darkroom time has been limited because of a recent move to a bigger apartment, but I can't wait to get back printing again. Thanks for having such a great site here!

Thank you everyone! The leaves have just barely started to get a hint of red or yellow so far........the fall colors are still a little while away. When it comes that time I'll be taking plenty of hikes in the Lake George area. Lots of mountains, and all of them with great views of the lake and surrounding towns.
