Whitley Bay? Hey, you've even got a hockey team so that you don't feel too homesick!

Now if you're really interested in 5x4, there is a UK LF group and it just so happens they're having a workshop/meet at Saltburn in Cleveland in a couple of weeks time. Maybe worth your while joining the site and asking if you can go along and meet them?

Ahah, hockey was the only sport back at home that didn't do my head in.
and cheers for the link, I'll definitely check it out.

Good to see you're adopting our proper way of spelling too!

Steve.

Whey aye. ;)

Yeah I have a Sinar P, I am really loving it. It's really not out of your league it just takes time. You should go buy a camera they are dirt cheap, go on be good to yourself

I will eventually, most definitely. It's just too many moving parts, hah. I can see why it would be beneficial, though... the pin-hole will only take it so far.

But why stop at 5x4 - Go straight to 10x8 and enjoy real big negs (Shaggysk8 is already on the slippery slope  ). Plenty to see and shoot up north, so enjoy yourself regardless of which format you use.

As it happens I shot 10x8 lith today (with failed results, but nevermind.)
and I'm inheriting about ten sheets of 20x12. :D
