Hello everyone, my name is totsuan.

I studied photography in Japan and mainly work with Kodak medium format film for my projects. (I’m sad that Fujifilm has stopped producing medium format film.)

I joined this community to gather and share information primarily related to photographic film.

Currently, I work in the maintenance of photography equipment at an educational institution, and I’m repairing a Fujimoto CP-51 and its WD module. (I found that the CP-51 is not supplying the necessary voltage to the WD module, but without a service manual the repair has been very challenging and is not yet complete.)

I’d be very happy if you could welcome me here.

Welcome!

Welcome! I also ran/maintained the photo darkrooms and studio facilities for a university here in California. Students keeps one on one's toes! I retired about ten years ago.

My son lives and works in Tokyo. My other son (working in Australia) and I will be visiting him for the month of December. I am still deciding on which format camera to bring (Rollicord, 4x5, or 5x7).

Really!? I’m based in Kyushu. I’d be glad if we can get along well from here on.

My wife's home town is Kurume, in Fukuoka ken. I was just there for two months.

Fuji produced my favorite films. I helped expand the English language Wikipedia article on Fuji Neopan based on information I found from a Japanese source. Glad that you're joining us.

Welcome tetsuan!

I lived in Dazaifu, Fukuoka ken 20+ years ago. I went to Kurume often. I miss those days.

Wow! We probably crossed paths then! I lived in Kurume from 1990-2002. Went to Dazaifu often.
