Hello everybody,

I am actually one of the few that is not from the film era that continues to shoot it. I am 20 and begun shooting with a nikon fe about 10 years ago, actually I still have a print that I made in the darkroom from the first roll that I shot. Did that for a long time and got a digital camera to do some paid shoots about 4 years ago. About the same time I bought a 500cm. After a few shoots with the digital, I quickly sold it and just shot and developed all my own film for fun. About 2 years my friend started to shoot weddings, he asked me to be his second shooter. I quickly accepted and have done about 6 wedding now. I have since then bought another digital and started again to do paid shoots. Again I am finding out how much I hate digital cameras. But on the plus side I am actually seeing the possibilities of shooting film for both personal and professional. Also the drive in me to be a photographer is there, more so then last time.

that is my story and you can see why I enjoy a forum like this one.

I am hoping to find other photographers from Indiana that we can start a network with.

Hello,
I've been in the Indianapolis area (northwest suburb) for the past seven years. There are a few film shooters left around here, and it would be nice to meet more. Drop me a note if you're in the area and would like to meet/share work.

All the best,
Daniel

Welcome to APUG! The Nikon FE was my first real camera and continues to be one of my favorites.

It is the camera that has led me to today. I still shoot is often. the only change that is made to it since I got it is a winder for it. Love the way that it shoots and feels
