Hello,

My name is Steven and I'm a 38 year old novice at analog photography. Before the digital camera era I took pictures with a 35mm camera, but nothing special. A while ago I made a large format camera. It's got an 8cm magnifying glass for lens, a DIY mechanical iris and DIY bellows. The camera doesn't have a shutter, because I didn't need one for the idea I had. Sounds pretty vague, but I'll explain it some time.

I just found out I can't link to pictures before I post 5 posts. Pictures will follow another time.

I've joined this forum because I want to know more about analog photography (especially Large Format).
I also want to know where to get the stuff I need, but that's a question I asked in the Dutch section.

Welcome Steven - You'll find quite a few lurking here that live in your neck of the woods, so you'll never need to feel alone in the dark.
Just watch the language if there are any nuns listening in and you'll be fine
