Hi Everyone!
I've been wanting to get into film photography for ages, hankering after an old school film SLR.
The better half finally decided to indulge me, and bought me a Canon A1 with a 50mm F1.8 lens for christmas (from a list of models i wrote down and casually left lying around
)
A quick fix for the shutter squeak and straitening out a bent ASA dial and she works a treat.
Since when did film and developing become so damn expensive!?
Admittedly i haven't handled a film camera since i was in my early teens before digital tool over, but i remember being about to buy really cheap film and prints! Things have changed over the last 15-20 years, now it almost makes the hobby unaffordable!
Looks like i'll have to learn to develop it myself, should be interesting! haha
