I am new here since today, to join this fine community. 
Been shooting since 1984, started with a Olympus P&S C-800L camera into 1997 digital. My first SLR was my Pentax MX into 1987, but although i do like Pentax very much, i was never getting warm with it, perhaps it was just my only lens back then, the SMC-A 50/1.7, i've figured out way soon afterwards, that i do like 35mm focal length way more than the usual nifty-fifty. I do shoot mostly Minolta & Yashica, Contax 35mm SLRs, and with AF into that way, also Nikon and a few bodies. I am a silent reader on DPR serveral times daily since Fall 1999, and i've registered there since 2014, to participate into the forums. Former DPR members do know me simply as Marc Petzold.
