Hello Photrio,
I'm Felix from Freiburg. Shooting and developing film since I was a teenager. Started with the fascination for velvia slide film.
Became a trained photographer and work as a freelancer. I had my darkroom equipment stored in the cellar for years because I had no space for putting it up. Now, in my thirties, I start developing my own films again. Only b/w at the moment but color processes are also interesting to me.
Due to the love of working outside change the camera for a spade and work in the fields sometimes.
Around five years ago I got into drum scanning (Screen) and Scitex flatbed scanners but sold them some time ago.
Have been shooting analog medium format (Mamiya RZ) but restricted myself to 35mm.

Sincerely
fel!x

Welcome aboard Felix! Glad to have you on the forum. You're form a beautiful part of the country; it's been ages since I visited, but it's very pretty down there.

Only b/w at the moment but color processes are also interesting to me.

I can only encourage you to do color as well. I myself do quite a bit of color negative and color printing in my own darkroom. It's fun!

Welcome back to analog photography and nice to hear that you didn't sell your darkroom.

Welcome to Photrio! I get a lot of enjoyment using film and working in my darkroom.

Welcome from another German member -
I lived in Schönau / Black Forest for some time - it is located in the upper Wiesental at the foot of the Belchen.
Today I live in North Rhine-Westphalia and also in the Netherlands.
Have fun !

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

@koraks : Luckily I spent some time at photo productions in the Netherlands. Really enjoyed it.

I've had my time in the western Part of North Rhine-Westphalia… 2 years near Bielefeld.

There is no Bielefeld!

To me, the most expensive part of having a darkroom, is the sacrifice of space and rather than money.

There is no Bielefeld!

The conspiracy theory claims that the city of Bielefeld does not exist, but that all references to its existence are only part of the large-scale Bielefeld conspiracy. The existence of the city of Bielefeld is being faked to the population in order to hide something completely different.

The unknown masterminds of the conspiracy are usually only referred to mysteriously as "THEY" (always in capitals). The CIA, the Mossad or aliens who have disguised their spaceship as a university are suspected to be behind "THEY". One version even suspects the entrance to Atlantis at the site of the fake city.

Would it be safe to say that the story about Bielefeld is "Way Beyond Monochrome"?
:whistling:

What the hell are you all talking about?

Ralph rarely tells jokes here on Photrio, so we should just enjoy this one
