Hello from DC

I just found your group. I'm an amatuer photographer in DC area using mostly medium format cameras (love Rolleiflex TLRs) and alternative cameras (older medium format cameras modified to shoot pinhole). I like all types of film, but B&W is my favorite (especially Efke 25).

Glad to be a part of the group. I have no intention of ever owning a digital camera and I really don't see the fun in using one unless you are a photojournalist who needs to turnaround images quickly.

Looking forward to seeing other photo submissions and learning about traditional darkroom techniques.

One other thing, I have been looking for a lobbyist to act in my behalf. Would you be interested in camping on my senators doorstep every morning? Or at least on those days that he chooses to show up? The pay is lousy and the satisfaction lies in seeing him look upon you with distaste after about 30 days. Give it some consideration, if you will.
