Hello from CONUS

Just found this site, Decided to go back to school (semi-retirement is boring, not reccomended) and become a photographer when I grow up. (LOL) A good use by all accounts for the GI Bill. No complaints here. Will be using a Pentax K-1000 for the 35mm portion of the Photography program. Medium and Large format portions of the program will follow. And that is they say that. Glad to be aboard.

The amount of knowledge and experience floating around on this site is pretty astounding and the willingness to answer questions still surprises me (in the nicest possible way!). Welcome here Doogie ! and yes this is a fantastic place to learn something ! For me for example is quite difficult learn how to shoot with my Large format camera because in Italy it's rare today!
