Although I joined a couple of days ago I haven't had the time to say Hi yet.

My name is Stu, and I live in the Beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia Canada.

I'm a cross shooter presently shooting with a Sigma DSLR, several Pentax 35mm film cameras, along with a vintage Ferrania Lince 2, 35mm view camera.
With a little luck I'll be adding a medium format, or 2 soon, however I'm happy with what I have.
For some reason I've also recently started collecting old Polaroids, which I might start shooting sometime soon.

I recently had some old darkroom equipment practically given to me, so it's my latest interest in this artform. Actually seeing the image being created in front of me has really sparked my interest back up.
Although I have 2 good teachers in the darkroom, I have pretty much no experience in it so I may just have to ask for a little advice about some effects from time to time.

Welcome, i got a brother living in Invermere

Cross shooter huh. be carefull with that term, too easy to slip up:D
regards
CW

Hi Stu, and welcome from downtown Eagle Bay, just a couple of hours north of you.

Hello from Montreal and welcome to APUG

Stu - hello and welcome to APUG from western Massachusetts.

Hi Stu - welcome from down in the Lower Mainland

Welcome to APUG from your southwest neighbor.

Best regards,

Bob

Paul lives in Alberta where most of Canada's oil is, hence he is an Oilbertan.

Here's a wave from out on the coast. You'll find APUG a wonderful resource - but watch out! When I joined I was happily stuck in a rut shooting 35mm and MF, but now I've got an 8x10 and am lusting after an even bigger camera.

Welcome Stu, from Japan! I was living in Kamloops until recently, and Kelowna was a favorite haunt. Heed sly's warning! I was also in a happy rut shooting slides and mostly 35mm, but since joining APUG I've set up my own darkroom (moved most of it to Japan) and have acquired large format gear (although I shoot mostly MF now).
