Hey guys, I'm a newbie from bozeman, mt. I'm currently a sophomore photography major. I shoot mainly black and white, but i'm starting to get into digital. I just started shooting 4x5 this year and am currently working on my final project.

Hi hotami, welcome from Hawaii. I think you will enjoy this site, it is a great place for learning about different techniques and methods.

Hi Andrew, welcome aboard APUG

Go ahead...take everything you've learned and throw that pot full of spaghetti against the wall to see what sticks! If the tried and true, analogue, silver based noodles tenaciuosly hang on the longest, we'll be here for you

Murray

P.S. We will grovel greatly at your feet for Photographers Formulary unadvertised special prices for the products we need to survive.

Welcome to APUG, Andrew. You'll find lots of encouragement for your film-related photography here. No guarantees if you mention the D-word, though. (lol)

Welcome from ferndale. I spent some time in bozeman a few years back. I seem to remember a micro brewery there that was especially special...

Andrew,

Do you know Chris Anderson? If so tell her I said hello.

Welcome!

is it coincidence that Bozeman means Angry man in Dutch???

best,
Onno (not an angry man..)

Yeah I know who chris anderson is, but i haven't had a class with her. She's teaching experimental photography right now, but i won't get to take that until junior year.

Things could be a lot worse for you hotami. Let's see, Big Sky, the Gallatin River, Yellowstone and on and on.

I grew up and went to college in Butte and get to Montana regularly from my place of residence in Denver. My parents and my wife's parents still live there and there is no place quite like it as far as I am concerned.

Cheers!
