Hi, my name is Phil.
I've just got back into photography only a couple of years ago. Lately i've been shooting film on FED2, FED Micron, Ricoh GR1 & Ricoh RF's & SLR's.
You can blame Ebay for that. But its all good fun.
I've taken the plunge & plan to develop my own B&W film at home. Having not developed film since high school some 35+ years ago.
So needing a resource of film information I turn to the internet and here I am at the APUG. I can tell this community will have any answers, help & all the information I may need in a quest for better photography.

Welcome to APUG Phil, from Melbourne. You've come to the best resource here. Everybody is friendly and helpful, and no flaming.

I too came back to film developing from a lay-off of many years. One of the best resources I have found is the Massive Dev Chart at:

http://www.digitaltruth.com/devchart.php?doc=timetemp

There you will find times for most workable combinations of film, developer and ISO. And, even better (if you have an iPhone) there is a free app which combines the data from the Massive Dev Chart with a timer which will take you through the whole process with audible alarms and warnings at the key times.

Cheers, Peter.

Welcome to APUG, Phil, from Delaware in the states. Hope the process gears are freeing up for ya.

Phil - Hello and welcome to APUG from western Massachusetts USA.

G'day Phil, from another APUGer just across the border in Geelong.

Welcome to the APUG jungle!:D

G'day from another Adelaide-ian - there's a strong analogue community puttering along in our city still. You'll be sure to find all the information you need here. Dont be afraid to ask any questions that may cross your mind, we're a friendly bunch.

Hi Phil,Welcome from Texas, you sound like myself. This weekend I will be developing first film since early 70's.
