Hello Everyone - a newbie need help

Hello everyone here. Greetings from Toronto, Canada.

Photography has been my hobby since my junior school days.
I still remember my first camera was the Kodak Brownie Fiesta which my uncle bought me when I was around 8 or 9 years old. I never took any photos with this camera because I didn't have the funds to buy a roll of film.

I just signed Photrio today. I like to post to the For Sale forum, but keep getting "You have insufficient privileges to reply here".
What do I have to do to obtain sufficient privileges to post? Your help is appreciated.

have you signed in with name and password? I so, You should see your name on the top and should see the post reply' button to the right. Then, you can reply.

There is a line at the top of my screen: Due to recent spam issues, private messages to fellow members will not be available until you have posted at least 20 (genuine, not filler) messages in our public forum area or have a paid subscription to Photrio. You must also be registered for at least 5 days. " Maybe I have to wait 5 days before I can post.

To reply to a thread in the Classifieds section, you need to be registered >5 days and you need >=20 posts. These conditions also apply to initiating private conversations with other members. We often enable this before these conditions are met if a user requests us so. This is also explained in this thread: https://www.photrio.com/forum/threads/how-the-classifieds-section-works-read-this-first.204146 That thread is fairly easy to find (or so I thought):

On which thread?
Unless a thread ban has been imposed manually on you - which is unlikely - there should be no restriction.
Every once in a while there can be a very brief delay while the system is involved in a maintenance procedure.

You should be able to participate in any existing thread discussing photography, or select “new” and start a thread on the photography topic of your choice.

You currently have 3 posts in this thread. Write about photography and the next 17 will come easily. Tell us about you, and your gear, and your photographic interests. Ask questions about topics you need information about. &ct

We usually wait for a specific request from the new member. But I'm going to out on a limb and add you to the queue of those who have made the request.
