Started the photographic journey with Brownie box camera and a Kodak Retina, used Minolta Maxxum cameras until 1990 when photography had to take a backseat for the demands of work. After moving several times without setting up a darkroom, I let the equipment go and eventually sold off the cameras and other equipment that had been sitting around unused, thought I was done with it.
I'm Retired now with too much idle time, hummingbirds nesting in the back yard got me thinking about a camera, I was looking at Canon and Nikon DSLR's when I was given a Minolta X-700 and Yashika Mat-124 G.
Still looking to get a new camera, but, some months of using these cameras has shown my real interest in photography to be the deserted streets of the early morning city viewed as landscape. I'm thinking 4x5" may be the way to go and have taken a shine to the Ebony SV45TE camera.
Best to all,
Anthony
