Hello folks.

I've have had too little time of late to devote to serious photography. Now that work is allowing me a bit more free time and I've "invested" in some new analogue kit, I'd like to contribute more meaningfully than I've previously been able.

I don't have a darkroom. For posting, I scan my negatives and tweak them via Lightroom or CS3 - and have prints done where and when I want something to put on the wall.

Is posting scanned and "slightly tweaked" (contrast and brightness improved and, occasionally, a vignette / sepia tone added) negatives acceptable on here? Hope so.

Anyway, best regards to one and all.

Paul.

When people post their images where, yes, it is a neg scan or print scan.

I would interpret a contrast tweak on a scan as acceptible if disclosed, for it is really is the same as picking the right MG flter when optically printing it.

Similarly vignetting and sepia are optical printing techniques, by thess are getting more computer processed the way you are doing it, and might see you bumped to hybridphoto, a sister site to this one.

Buenos noches!

Thanks guys. I'll be very "light touch" with the post processing work. Really loving using film again on a regular basis. PJ.
