No, I am NOT in Sweden
Yes, my town was settled by a swede
Yes, I plan to move to Sweden
first camera was a toy camera, yellow plastic, when shutter release button pushed, a monkey popped out
moved up to disposable cameras
found a 110 at a garage sale, came with film and falshcubes
shot one roll with it
more disposables
a cheap p&s with panoramic mode
first digicam AGFA ePhoto 307 640x480 (gift)
next came the Kodak easyshare cx4200 1632x1232 (won after-prom)
had a cell phone with cam for a while, took a few pictures and gave up on it
then Argus Bean (zoran coach) 5mp (gift)
finally time for a real dslr ... D60 10mp (paid $$)
acquired box of cameras at auction, along with other junk, and a kodak DC50
bought Kodak DC260 at surplus sale
found N75 mislabled as D75 on ebay, $18 inc. shipping
Kodak Duaflex II bought at flea market $10 (very good condition)
found safelight at same flea market, $7 (new in box)
craigslist finds (enlarger + timer + paper in safe + books + easel $50)
8' stainless steel sink came out of newspaper darkroom when they converted to digital $50
ebay finds (grain focuser + time-o-lite + volt meter + bellows attachment + slide copier attachment)
(safelight filters + paper) (em-10 + multiple exposure easel) (paper in safe)
at surplus sale acquired copy stand + large plastic tub + safelight + light meter + uv lamp + oscilloscope camera
will go to surplus sale again to buy more supplies
working on acquiring another enlarger
enough with the equipment for now...
caught the analog bug when I started in a b&w photo course, a terrible disease
considering offering custom printing services.....
so the plan is to finish school, (one semester left) find a job in the wind industry (considering photography and inspections), move to Sweden (preferably south of E14)
(note to self) subscribe and setup portfolio
decided 100th post is a good reason to introduce myself
