heads up - enlargers, school asset auction

there is a lot of 4 enlargers, no bids and it ends in a few hours. $99 for four Beseler Dual Dichro..?!

it's sad that schools are dumping so much educational gear!

This is sad!

If they still have a photo program, they could of changed
teacher again and gone digital. This was one of the schools
in the area that would bring in there banged up cameras in for repair.
It's so sad that Most schools have dropped there photo programs.

at least it makes things easier for hobbyists.. if this were more local to me i'd buy them.. $25/enlarger? they would make great gifts for photo enthusiasts

Think about it. Purchase the lot of 5 Omega D-5s and you'll never have to mess around with changing lensboards or revolving the lens turret. The time saving alone will pay for it.

Somewhat seriously, you have to appreciate the detailed description ("The units are gray with white bases").

Anyone local interested in this stuff? My brother is in Phoenix and would probably be interested in a color enlarger. He will be in the area for Christmas, but that is too late for the pickup.

I.e. we could probably split this with someone and pick up one or more enlargers in late December.
