I obtained for next to nothing a RZ67 140mm macro lens that has haze within the elements. The shutter works fine and I thought I would take the glass apart and attempt to clean it. I have the front element off and the rear element retaining ring off. I can see no way to remove the glass. There are no notches to use the lens wrench on - can anyone give me any information regarding how to remove the glass?

One method I have used with success on RB67 lenses is a large rubber stopper obtainable on ebay very cheaply, chose a size a little larger than the barrel so that hand pressure engages the rubber on the metal.

Like tedr1, I use a rubber thingy. The one I use I got from Home Depot for like $3. Look in the plumbing section of your local hardware store.

The 140mm macro sekor is a floating element lens. There must be at least three elements or the rear element is connected to the floating element ring.

I still can see no way to remove the elements - there are no screws or flanges that I can see. I am showing 3 photos of the lens below. This is the older version Macro Z and it is different from the parts diagrams of the later versions.

I want to think(!) that the thing is taken apart from the front. As in: the shutter & lens comes out as a unit.

Simon has the diagram now. Both front and rear cells in most rz lenses come out their respective ends, leaving the shutter in the middle.
