Same camera before, only now you have a few hundred less excuses not to get it.

XPan panoramic/regular 35mm rangefinder. Exc. condition - comes with 45mm lens, original instructions, 3 Rodenstock filters (UV, polarizer, centre filter to prevent vignetting) and I'll toss in a brick (10 rolls) of TMX-36 film.

Glass is excellent, no scratches, smudges, dust, oil, Martians or bubonic plague. This is as low as it gets folks -- 2 weeks and it's off to eBay. I'd rather an APUG'er get it and a donation go to the folks who bring us this excellent site.

US$1800 plus shipping. Please, US and Canadian orders only.

PM me or email ?'s to colin dot corneau at gee male, dot com.

No I won't split it up. No I won't lower the price, you're getting a helluva deal as it is now. Yes I will accept a money order or bank draft/cheque, as soon as it clears I will mail right away. Yes I am happy to answer any questions you might have, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Actually, Andrew -- plenty of people seem to be resisting. Just need one person who can use a terrific camera...I'm selling only because I want to move to a Hassy MF setup. It's in gorgeous shape.

C'mon people - the filters alone are worth 3-4 hundred dollars!!!

let me finish nursing school and find a job. I'll call you in February.

I can't afford to hang onto it that long, Sully. Sorry but 2 weeks and I'm simply turning this over to online auction.

This is an absolutely fabulous deal on one of the best conceived and executed cameras ever made for 35mm, panoramic or straight. Great body and optics, just a uniquely wonderful package. I wouldn't part with mine for anything (well...at least that I can think of right now).
LJS
No connection with seller, and I imagine he's glad for that.

Much appreciated, thank you. Honestly, I'd love to keep this -- but I just can't afford it right now and am trying to get a MF kit. That's the only reason -- it's in fine shape and I'm taking a loss right now on what I paid for it. A good honest deal for someone...

I was just kidding! Good luck. Gave you a bump, at least.

No love for the XPan? Not even **giving** it away???

Last few days, folks, and I reluctantly put this up elsewhere. I'd very much rather a commission go to APUG, and a fellow film fan get this camera.

Well, if you're giving it away ... I'll take it :D

I love the XPan ... just don't have that kind of cash at the moment.

Still available...yet another buyer backed out.

The price is extremely fair and actually represents a small loss for me.

An email saying "I'll buy it. Here's my Paypal/money order/cheque" gets it.

An email saying "Gosh that's nice. Let me think about it. I'll get back to you next week" along with 2 dollars gets you a nice cup of coffee. I've had plenty of tire kickers, but oddly no actual buyers yet.

I was going to get a FlexBody first and then an XPAN, but I have decided to get a 4x5 Speed Graphic and a 4x5 Graflex Model D first. Just hang in there for a couple of years and then we can talk.

Steve

Enjoy your coffee, Steve...

FOLKS - I will pay shipping for this item to US and Canada. Also included is 10 rolls of fresh TMX-36.

This should not be a hard sell...I've signed up for an online auction site so it's going there if no joy here. Please let me make a donation to APUG instead of that!

I would really think about getting it if I couldn't simply crop my 6x4.5 or 6x6 or 6x7 or 6x9 medium format negatives to get effectively the same - if not "better" - results for insanely less money, while spending the same amount of money per frame shot, all whilst getting all the benefits of a system reflex camera, plus having the option to not crop if that is what I wanted for a shot or two!

At least the folks who are bitching and moaning about someone else's sale, which they've no stake in, are giving it a bump every once in a while. Sorry you have to take the abuse, Colin, you've been more restrained and gentlemanly than I would be. Hope it works out for you and your eventual buyer.

Good point. I bet if I really tried I could crop the film from the 4x5 Speed Graphic or the 4x5 Graflex Model D and get the same effect!

Have a sense of humor, man...or if you won't, at least let me (us?) have one! :D This is obviously going to E-Bay for whatever reason (He has been saying so since June.), so some jokes about why it ended up there are appropriate, IMHO.

Permit me to make the observation that I think Colin's asking price is a bargain. A Hasselblad X-Pan in excellent condition (from an Estate) is available locally (pro dealer, Melbourne, Australia) for AUD$2,200 and that is just the basic body and 45 lens. CC is offering Hassy-branded filters and whatnots which would surely add a very significant amount otherwise, so ease back in arguing about the price. Interestingly, a USD-AUD conversion works out at $2,055, still way below a pro dealer's display price.

2F/2F you got that right. If must have been posted while I was writing post #22. I am glad you got my back.

I would like to have an XPAN but as I explained I have had some opportunities come up that rearranged my priorities. When I all unwinds I will relay the story. For now I will say that both Saturday and Sunday of last weekend I got to see and handle, focus, shoot, crank the shutters of Graflexes and Graphics in probably the largest privately held collect in the world. I thought that handling Hasselblads was hazardous for ones financial well being ... the strength of GAS strong it is ... must resist ... futile to resist it is ...
