They do not even say so on their german pages, where you cannot specify more than "photo-lenses"...
But I found more quirks at their site.

I see what you mean. I looked at German version of the site, and they don't list different types of lenses at all, just ask you fill out the contact form. I wonder if they would work on my lens if I were in Germany?

They worked on Ralph Lambrecht's lens (poster above) who is in Germany. Ralph, was that recently?

Maybe they're trying to reduce amount of international shipping they have to deal with by limiting lenses coming in from US?

Or maybe just quirk, unintended inconsistency at web site, as you say.

UPDATE:

Email from Zeiss Germany:

They suggested I contact keh.com or zeisscamera.com for repair of 110/2.0 lens. I see zeisscamera.com is Henry Scherer. Have heard of him. From web site, looks like he works on older Contax equipment. I'll email and see if he would work on my lens.

I've bought things from Keh a lot over the years but never had repairs done there. Can anyone share experiences with repairs there?

Email from Hasselblad in NJ:

I asked if Bron no longer associated with Hasselblad, and she said that is correct. She added:

"Unfortunately for the FE lenses there are no parts or technicians available to work on them. We do however work on V-System lenses but we cannot repair the FE lenses."

Steve's Camera Service in Culver City thinks they can repair the lens. They will decide after looking at it ($45). Warned that if parts needed, they wouldn't be able to repair — which I knew.

So I plan to send it to them. They say they are "authorized Hasselblad" repair shop on their web site.

Thanks, Brian Shaw, for suggesting them.

The same lens was available in tiny quantities for the Rolleiflex SL66. I could use one, the perfect focal length for portraits. I saw one on ebay a few years ago for $18,000. I didn't buy it.

I will try again to get into their site and contact them. Thank you very much!
I called them up to discuss before I sent my lens. It came back perfect and was even newly adjusted on their optical bench according to the attached report.

Was this recently? Maybe they are rejecting 110/2 lenses from outside of Germany?

Haha, I wonder why you didn't buy it. Some of those prices on Ebay are so silly....

No,that was 10 years ago but again, Icalled them up first. I had bought a barain f/5.6 250mm lens on ebay and when it arrived it had a clear rattle sound inside as if sll the glass elements where lose. They fixed all of that, adjusted it on their optical bench and sent it back with a repair eort, all for $50; amazing customer service!. I did lived in Germany at the time.
Call them up first. If you have a German-speaking friend, have him or her do it! You cannot count on getting in touch with an English speaker. I spoke to an elderly very-friendly gentleman.

I see. It was 10 years ago. Also sounds like it was not an F or FE lens.

Thanks for the clarification. Sounds like they were very good to you : )

I have someone here in the US who thinks they can repair it, so I plan to send to them (Steve's Camera Service in California).
