Just can't figure this out....got a Hasselblad 2000, and the cable releases (two of them) which work smoothly on two other cameras work only intermittently on the Hasselblad (long plungers and good screw threads on the releases). And the Nikon flash synch cord which fits the Nikon and the Canon doesn't fit the H (both ends of the synch have the same configuration and work either way on those cameras). Typical? Clues? More $100.00 Hasselblad adapter thingies?

Can't help you with the cable release issue, but you should be aware that there are "long tip" flash cords marketed specifically for Hasselblad lenses. The more usual ones may work, but only if pressed very firmly into the sockets and possibly held in by rubber bands....found this out the hard way, of course.

A search at B&H Photo for "Paramount long tip" will turn up this style of cord, presumably with whatever fitting you need at the other end.
