For Sale Hasselblad SWC with Accessories

My focus has shifted entirely to my portrait project and this awesome SWC just doesn't have a place in that space, so I'm putting it out there for sale.

I had it serviced here locally and it runs great. I bought a new 903/905 style viewfinder for it, which is really clear and has a bubble level inside the viewing area, which is unfathomably helpful. I also have the new style focusing back, a quick release, an aftermarket hood, and 7 series VIII filters (Red, Orange, Green, Yellow, ND0.6, Polarizer, and UV) which I will include as well.

This price also includes one A12 back.

Price is $1800 net to me. Pretty darn firm, but I'll entertain very reasonable offers.

Yeah, I had honestly forgotten how much putting this kit together ended up costing me. I might need to readjust the price a bit I also woke up this morning wondering if selling it was even the best idea....

Okay, sorry folks, I did adjust the price. I sort of priced it along the lines of what I paid, ignoring that I paid extra to get the new viewfinder and focusing back. And also the service on the camera to make sure it fires for a loooong time.

$1800 net is the price.

I don't doubt it. I think it's one of the most fun and impressive photographic tools out there. But I'm trying to finish a long-term portrait and feel the need to invest funds in that direction. Hopefully I can find another at some point in life.

Yup, I sold my SWC/M for 2500 and I missed it within the hour. Sometimes financial matters trump our love for a piece of kit.

This camera was made in 1967-1968. So almost 50 years old and with a decent CLA good for may years more!

Mine is from 1965 with the original view finder. It's a wonderful camera.

As I said: the camera is from 1967 (letters TU) and the lens dates to 1968. You can see the serial numbers in the posted pictures.

I probably made more money with my SWC than any other camera. I bought it new in 1979 and then upgraded it to C/M. I'll never get rid of mine! L

There are two ground glass versions. This is the newer and $300. The other one usually goes for $100 so if you can find one for $50, that's a great price as well.

There're also Chinese made focusing screen for $100.

The old type screen 41025 and new type screen 41050 (herein listed).

This newer screen is MUCH brighter and easier to focus with. It also locks in your WLF or Prism in a good deal better. It's a huge improvement. And also very spendy haha

Logan, selling an SWC is a good idea only if you buy an SWC/M or a 903 with the money

Be careful, SWCs tend to become more expensive with time... although some good deals pop up from time to time, if you can wait for those, the better.
