Hasselblad serial numbers

I recently purchased a Hasselblad 500CM body and wondering if someone can work out the year from the serial number? 10EP22395

From what I have seen of the serial numbering system it should begin with two letters. And even if I use just the EP it works out to be a '93 model which is wrong as this model was only produced until '89.

I'm confused...

My error. I see they were manufactured until '94...

Does anyone know what the '10' prefix means?

Yep. That it's a 500 C/M.

It's not info someone holding the camera could do anything with, but in lists of numbers, it helps.
