Hi,

I recently bought myself a Hasselblad 500CM, its my first Hass, so I've been warned by friends about the mirror jam issue it sometimes has. Lo and behold... my mirror is jammed, and following online tutorials has not be able to solve the problem.

I am looking for a Hasselblad repair person to send it to, so I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for me. Someone you've personally dealt with, and had a good experience with, and of course finally fixed your Hasselblad.

Your help is most appreciated!

Mahalo.

I have only heard positive things about David Odess.

I've used David Odess three times. Excellent work, and fair prices.

Contact him first, as he he'll be able to tell you if it's even something you need to send to him, or you can do yourself. Speaking from personal experience, he doesn't solicit unnecessary work. A true gentleman.

Thank you for the replies. Just got home from Thanksgiving break, will look into it!

Wayne has started a different thread for me! Thanks for the replies here!
