Or something like that ... today I have received this kind of clamp to put the Knob Meter on the lens hood (at the bottom of the picture)

The hood thickness is too coarse so the clamp does not fits (hood is an original one) .... anyone of you have ever used it?

I am considering opening it a little(using something like a squeeze) but maybe ill break it rather than bend.

I'm not sure you can spread the clamp without breaking it, they're pretty brittle.
Any chance you could thin the lens hood a bit? If the hood's got flocking in it that may be
removed but I don't remember the old hoods having flocking.

The original B50 hoods were aluminum. The newer B60 hoods are plastic, and thicker. That accessory clamp was made for the older B50 hood.

Instead of this clamp you could use the coldshoe accessory rail for the meter. I use it for radio triggers in the studio and I find it works pretty well.
