Anyone have any experience with this camera? Is it reliable? Can it still be serviced?
Thanks!
Thanks!
I bought one of the silly winders for my 503cw, it works. It's a bit like putting lipstick on the Mona Lisa. The new multi grip thing isn't as nice as the all metal original Hasselblad. Sunpak worked on the new grip, Sunpak provided the quick release for the grip. Any nice 500 CM or newer would be my recommendation as well.My Hasselblad repairman at Samys Fairfax has advised me to stock to the V Series [500, 502, 503, ...] because the focal plane shutters are too fragile. Also shutter parts supply may be a problem. I have been using a 503 CX and 903 SWC for years. I do not need no stinking power winder.
Fuji is poor at supporting it's digital stuff. I would be wary of spending a lot. Very tempting. I'm sorry I'm not answering your original question. Thanks for that reply Sirius, I think that applies to the 'regular' Hassies vs the 2000 series. The H1 was made my Fuji so I'm not sure if the same applies. Anyone know how they are?

...If I was going to buy a 645 i think I would get the Contax first depending on the price, the Hassy second and the Pentax third. Never was too fond of Mamiya.
Hope that helps you.
Contax 645 now is insanely expensive! About double the price of the Hasselblad. I currently use a Mamiya 645 ProTL, and while it is great for the money it is really difficult to focus accurately. The manual screen is not very good. I have no problem with manual focus with any of my other cameras.
