Hasselblad film counter flap magazine question

Hello,
I just purchased a new (and preowned...) magazine for my hassy.
It is a different model from my other magazines I already own, it is a newer model.
It has not the see through film counter I love, but it has a flap that hides a metallic foil.
Here is my question:
How does it work?
Ok setting the film asa rotating the wheel, but does it have any other options?
And my flap hangs and refuses to stay clicked in its position.
Maybe I fiddled around a little too much with it and it got loose?
It is possible to repair it?

That flap is a holder for the end of a 120 film box, so you can remember what kind of film is in the back. That model, the A12, does not use the see-through window in back for frame counting. You load the insert with film like you would with the old-style backs, but you wind the film till the big arrow across the paper lines up with a dot on the metal tab that holds the film spool in place. Then put the insert in the back and turn the little film advance crank on the side of the magazine until it stops. The frame counter will say 1, and he film is now loaded correctly.

I had a hanging problem with one of mine, as it lost strenght, I cutted off and the back operates nicely, so, I think it doesn't really matter, it's just a window where you can put the film reminder and set the ISO, IMO!

It means that the hanging is because I forced what I didn't know it was a spring...
So you cannot check if the film flows correctly from frame 1 to 12.
I am used to check if it is all alright and often I had to use the manual winder on the right side.

You can see if the film is rolling through the magazine using the indicator on the left side, inside the key that opens the magazine.
It is a crude affair, but any sign that it moves from all white to red is a sure sign that the film is moving through the magazine. What frame you are at is shown by the frame counter. And that's about all you need to know.

The manual magazines do transport film correctly, even though the number on the backing paper does not always appear in the peep hole. No need to correct for that, and the peep hole only needs to be used when setting the first frame.
