Hi All,
I have a Hasselblad 501CM with an A12 back. Every once in a while I load the film and as I shoot the crank becomes hard to turn. When I remove the film from the back, the film is rolled loosely onto the take-up reel. Happens about one id 10-15 rolls. Any idea what I am doing wrong? I think I am loading the film the same way each time, but obviously I am not.
Thanks in advance,
Jim

I can only think that the film is not being wound tight enough on the take-up spool when first loaded. Try light thumb pressure on the centre column of the spool as you wind to the arrow.

Are you remembering to put the paper under the silver bar?
