Using either a 203FE or 205FCC and an E series Hasselblad extension tube, will I need calculate any additional exposure correction or will the camera's own meter do it as there is information coming from the lens via the bus on the tube.

If you are metering through the lens the meter will see less light so you are okay. If you are using an external meter you will have to deal with the extension factor yourself. It is not about the info coming from the lens/tube it is about the fact that less light is getting to the meter. This should work with any tube.

I am not the expert on 200 series cameras - had one way back and never really warmed up to it but I doubt any info passed on through the tube has anything to do with it - I have a bunch of E tubes and the only thing they do is cost a lot and allow E lenses to pass along info as far as I know.

In any case if you are metering through the lens E tube or no you will be fine no calculations required.

With E tubes you can just meter as if there is no tube between lens and camera.

With non-E tubes you need to meter with the lens stopped down.

No, the camera calculates the right exposuretime. Works only with the E-serie extension tubes.

No, it does not only work with E-tubes.

You just have to use stop down metering, as if using a non-E lens (with or without tube).
