So last year I bought a decent Hassy late version chimney / magnifying finder with the diopter adjustment in it. I bought it strictly for macro and found that it did not magnify all that much so I have not really used it and have thought about selling it.

But lately, I think my not needing glasses for over 45 years is starting to change. With the high prices and low availability of diopters for other types of viewing looking to be a challenge, I am taking another look at this finder.

It would seem because of the +- diopter, those who wear glasses would value this finder more than some, anyone care to weigh in?

The chimney finder worked for me when I was just needing to wear glasses for reading. Now that I wear bifocals all the time, I don't need the additional diopter correction.
