I just flew to Tijuana and had all of my film hand checked to avoid the x rays. However, I accidentally left a roll of Ilford HP5 in each of my hasselblad backs, which were in my carry on, should they be alright? Also I´ll probably pass through San Diego in a few days, any suggestions on good camera stores? I´m mainly looking for film and could really use a new supply of pyrocat hd, but I also love, looking at used cameras,

Thanks,
John

Your film will be no different in the Hasselblads or in the factory packs. If you did carry-on, you should never have X-ray damage. The carry-on X-rays do not fog film at the exposure levels used.

For reliable info on anything photographic in San Diego, call the folks at Chrome Film Services: 619-233-3456. This major-league Southern Cal film lab is located just few minutes away from the downtown airport.

One pass through a carry on xray machine wont have any effect on a 400 speed film, in my (limited) expierience
