The Hasselblad system can be a deal at this time. Professional photographers seem to be selling them off, since they've switched to digital. I purchased my 501CM and some lenses from a fellow doing just that. The price was very reasonable. (How could you sell something like this off?)
The camera is definitely nice. Simple mechanically, and when you get to know it, simple to use. I have had the camera for 1 1/2 years now and see the thing as a remarkable tool. It may not make you a better photographer, but I can't see it standing in your way. (at least until the shutter jams)
The prices seem to be still going down right now, at least what I've seen on the auctions so don't buy it for an investment. The prices, when these cameras were new, made it a little hard for me to justify the purchase, but now... Oh! Glory be!!!!
