Fully functional, though it takes awhile to get used to the light meter. It is NOT coupled to the body. You can operate this camera with one or two 9V batteries. A quick look on eBay shows both the Zeiss 2.8/80 Planar lens and PME45 meter going for $800-900 each, so this is quite the bargain! Some test shots taken with Arista 200 B&W are shown below.
