For sale is a 120mm focal length Hasselblad V system lens of the CF variety with both caps and shade. I think it's in pretty good shape - glass is perfect, paint looks great. Selling to fund a lens I just purchased on here two days ago.

I am asking for $800 shipped in the US ONLY please. I take paypal.

I also have a filter adapter to use 77mm adapters on this lens. Will include for $25 (paid $35).

I will chime in too, this lens is a jewel. It is a great macro and being just short of a 150mm turns a great portrait. Some may say to only use it as a macro, but it can do really anything I have found.

Anyone??? Would it be better paired with a 500CM, WLF, NC2, A12 back, Polaroid back, extra winding crank and optech strap? I guess I should make a listing for the whole kit since I'm not shooting it! Anyone?

It's a bit high, 120 CF's go for $450-$650 every day. I plan on getting one later this year, just spent my gear dough on 4x5 gear...

Not on KEH they don't. More like $780-$1078 right now....$493-$899 on eBay recently completed auctions.

Guess it all comes down to condition. When I got mine I paid about $ 435 and it lasted about a year when it started acting up, then just would not shoot at all. Put almost $ 375 into it from David O to repair it and to do a complete CLA. It had an internal melt down, main spring issues and other things internally.
So I have a perfectly functional CLAed lens with perfect glass, accurate speeds and good to go for years to come. I took the risk of buying one at $ 400ish that it would run longer, but if someone can not produce the CLA paperwork on a lens with some age on it.... today I might pass at almost any price, but then some of my other lenses still crank away with no known CLA. I've knever known any first hand Hassy equipment, all of mine is used.

Exactly what I based my price on. I bought it from a store (precision) from their now defunct film rental dept and I'm sure it had been well kept as it was a rental. I got it a year ago and have shot maybe 5 rolls with, if that.

With all due respect. Stores have overhead and employees, some give 6 month warranty. Why would anyone pay more where they can get one of ebay. Also the ebay sellers hav eto pay %10 of the sale to ebay and paypal. Therefore, on forum boards the seller should take additionl price off ebay prices. That is how it works. Good luck on your sale.

Katie,
I've chimed in a couple of times and I would like to add that how ever you price your equipment is your decision. Buyers and lookers can be rather (insert your thoughts here) when it does not match their idea of a magic killer buy. Your 120mm lens is a wonderful piece of glass and I'm certain your entire kit is well kept too. I just get the sense reading this thread that we have knocked you down a notch or so, unnessarly. I wish you a great sale with a solid buyer.

+1 daleeman - the only price that matters is the one you're willing to sell for, and the one the buyer is willing to pay. Good luck!

Not to pick nits, but the lens shade you picture with the lens is not the correct shade for the 120mm. It looks more like a shade for a 50mm or 60mm.

Good luck with the sale. I own a 120mm and it is my favorite Hasselblad lens.

Price lowered to $599...

If I had not just built a 4x5 system, I would buy it for that, pretty much what I have seen them average for. I hope you sell it soon!
