Hass 2000FC - work without lens?

Hallo,

Simple question here - does the Hasselblad 2000FC fire without a lens attached?

May seem daft but mine won't fire and am waiting for a lens to return so no lens to put on it. Should I expect it to be able to fire without the lens or does it have to have a lens attached to work?

The 2000 FC will fire without a lens. Will not fire without a good battery though. Is yours in good shape?

Hi there,
Thanks for the reply - feeling a bit like a muppet as soon after posting the thread the camera worked. Battery is fresh, darkslide out, body and back synched but no action :confused: - then suddenly action!

All good now though, loving the solid thwunk sound!
