Has someone used D-76 1+0.5 ?

I had never thought of it: if I can develop a 35mm roll with 360ml of solution, the first logical way to think about it should have always been adding 120ml of water to the 240ml of stock D-76.
Not that I think it will be an earthshaking change, but in this case I don't need my 1+2 anymore because of this film's very sharp grain, and it's possible 1+0,5 would be pretty indistinguishable from the wonderful stock results I've got.
I started a roll for that earlier today, TMY at 400.
Has someone done 1+0,5?

It will work, when I used ID-!! 1 + 2 I used graph paper and plotted the recommended times for FS, 1 _ 1 and 1+ 3 and extrapolated. You need to do the same,

Personally, if I went back to a developer like D75/ID-11 or my preference Xtol it would be to replenished developer as It's so easy and consistent and the results are better.

Get a smaller tank. My stainless steel tank and spoil only requires 200ml. I use stock sometimes and 1:1 other times. Don't think I would bother with 1:0.5.

Last Kodak's recommendation (2017) says at 21C it's 7 minutes for stock and 11 minutes for 1+1.
So 9 minutes are close to their optimal for a 1+0.5 dilution.
For my condenser enlarger, I pick 7 minutes for my first whole roll (36 exp.) test, 4 fast inversions in the beginning, and 2 fast inversions every 30 seconds, thinking of decent highlights on occasional sunny scenes.

I don't like small tanks, and developing with stock is not my goal, and I've done it and can do it anyday. I hope you're doing 1+1 with a larger tank...
