Just curious level of complexity in disassembly and re-assembly of Robot's. Don't have one yet, but looks like one with some mechanical issues is going to be priced significantly below a fully working model. Depending on condition I may not undertake any repairs, but rather find a shop.

I'm looking mostly at later models Royal 24x24 and 24x36 with rangefinder.

Are there any service manuals for these ?
 
Are you referring to remote controlled cameras only or are you including drones?

I have disassembled and cleaned a Robot II. I did not find it too difficult, but I did not disassemble the clockwork of the shutter. There was a nice reassembly video for the Robot II at https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=OOnFywktJpM that I found very useful. (I have added a space to the URL before the "watch?V" so it does not try to display in my post.) If you Google "Robot Royal Disassembly" a number of items come up.

Here is my Robot II disassembled (the order of disassembly in the picture is top-to-bottom, right-to-left):
