What is the idea behind that survey? Is Harman considering caring for the storage issue?
Aside of the negative envelopes, Kodak slide boxes and Kodak Photo Disk/CD and the APS-cartridge this had not been an issue of the industry itself so far (at least at the moment nothing more comes to my mind).
The way I read the inquiry is that I think they are contemplating making their photo paper boxes archival for print storage.
Agreed. My responses to the survey conveyed a preference for Archival Methods' products. HARMAN's potentially working with that manufacturer to develop a line of Ilford-branded storage products would be fine, but not if those products are used as the original packaging for sensitized materials.FWIW, I would not be in favor of Harman spending more money, and raising the price, to be able to ship Ilford paper in higher-quality boxes...
