It means 30-40,000 rolls at a minimum. AKA a minimum length full width coating event. If it sells fast enough and people like it enough, it will probably iterate further until Ilford are happy they can produce identical product master-roll after master-roll.
I’m just glad that this means if Kodak goes belly up eventually/Fujifilm (if you don’t already think they have), then we might have at least some form of color film in the future as a failsafe.

The interior of the box looks properly designed. Well typeset Futura like all Harman/Ilford products.
The Phoenix logo is on the inside of the box in light grey as a background. I've only seen one picture of the outside of the box which only shows one side, which has no logo, could some of the other sides have the logo?
it may have been very fast to get to 80-85% completion
Adox Color Mission is not a quasi-functional prototype.
If Phoenix 200 is on a Color Mission level already, that's fantastic.
Exactly, me too!If Phoenix 200 is on a Color Mission level already, that's fantastic. If it's not, I'm willing to spend some money on it and see how far Harman can take it.
I think the occasional leaks are only desirable for Harman at this stage. It keeps the hubbub alive. Besides, they've had a pretty phenomenal run with this campaign already and nobody is going to take that away from them. Sure, they'll do their best to suppress the leaks here and there as part of the game that needs to be played. But I don't expect there's any intention whatsoever on their part to pursue any legal options with this. In fact, if I were Harman, I'd ask those YouTubers and Redditors to take down the spoiler and then immediately send them a 5-pack of that new film with a "thank you" note stuck to it.
....and it's going to sell.
This it will do, no matter what. Look at how various kinds of 'alternative' C41 film sells. In that sense, it's a pretty safe bet. I did not realize it before, which was an oversight on my behalf. It doesn't really have to be good. It just has to be good enough.

The challenge being, of course, that there is a real wide range of folks who will be making that evaluation.
is it available? Is it at a decent price? Does it work? I'll buy it, thanks.
So it was a logical conclusion that the Harman C41 film would be similarly a final product, on a par with Kodak or Fuji.

And thank the gods I get paid a couple of days before launch.
Yes but look at the range of films that are considered good enough (as in a lot of people will by them) now. It would have to be pretty crappy to miss that mark.
