I dunno, my 1960 Pen S is a beautiful example of 20th century engineering vs. the blah plastic Kodak Ektar H25... and it was only a hundred bucks. Yeah, that's twice as much, but it's way more than twice as much camera.
Hey, I can leave it set at 1/125 and f/8 or 11 with the focus at 2 meters (sharp 4 feet to infinity) and use it as a snapshot camera exactly like the H25. But the Pen's got a much better lens AND the ability to modify the exposure and focus settings if you want to.
Just yesterday I ran into some analog kids on the street (they were carrying a Minolta CLE, Nikon L35AF, and Canon AE-1) who'd never seen a half-frame camera in person, and they were amazed and charmed by the "cute, retro, all-metal" Pen S... not to mention blown away by the quality of my half-frame images.
