Hello there,

In context to

(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

i am looking for H&D curve for PanF+ with Rodinal 1+100 for 60mins.

That came from Zone System, explained very clearly in The Negative - Ansel Adams.

It will be very nice to have a curve at-least for Rodinal 1+100 with PanF+.

what does he say about stand development?

if i remember correctly, he never advocated no agitation but he did advocate the repeatability of a process.

according to what I have seen here I think the standard response will be that you have to do your own tests. This is described in detail in Phil Davis's book "Beyond the zone system" by the use of step tablet which you can buy from Stouffer industries inc. or by the procedure described in the appendix to Ansel's book "The Negative". In both cases you need a densitometer which can be bought from ebay.

There is a datasheet (which might be outdated, but Ilford doesn't publish these contrast curves anymore to my knowledge) online which includes the contrast curves for some developers (not rodinal.) Just google "pan f film curves"

Moin,

I think I rather go blindman's way. 1+100 for 60 mins, with 5ml of developer and 500ml of water. :-(

There is a festival going on in the town called La Strada...hope, I try to shoot some on tomorrow.

How about any film curve for a 60 min stand development and the matching gamma curve with agitation. I don't do stand development, so I don't have a curve to post.

I think the OP should plot his own. It's a good experience anyway. I'm not crazy about Pan-F / stand, I love Pan-F, stand not so much, except for special cases. Each to their own. Whatever you do, make some prints and then decide. So many posts here: "I just tried _______ dev for the first time, negs are drying now, but they look amazing!" Great to be enthusiastic, but the truth is in the print.

I do not have a darkroom I normally take it to the lab for prints. :-(
