I was able to fix a GX680 that I bought for a song because it was broken. I have two lenses for it, the 135 5.6 and th 150 4.5. Other than the slight difference in field of view, is there anything about thee 135 that makes it preferable to the 150? FOV wise, I don't need any different from the 150, and while it matters less on this camera than on others I was thinking I would just keep the 150 since it is the faster lens. Before I sell the 135, I was wondering if it was known to have something better about it.

No, they are very similar so keep the one that works best for you. Welcome to Photrio.

Supposedly the 135 was the standard lens. So a previous owner probably added the 150 to get a longer "portrait" field of view.

How do the ergonomics and filter sizes compare? And if you are thinking of adding something shorter, which of the 135 and the 150 might better complement your plans?
The 2/3 of a stop speed difference isn't large, but it isn't meaningless.

I think every lens for the GX680 used an 82mm filter (both of these certainly do). No matter what lens you use, GX680 ergos are best described as "lol"

Check the close focusing distance with the 150, to see if it you can get close enough for your anticipated needs. You'll be limited by the rail length, unless you got extension rails.

I’m also exploring medium format lenses recently. I use a Kowa system and I’m really impressed by the optics so far. Still learning though.
