Looks like I may have a project in Guyana for 2-3 weeks around the end of January. Mostly around Georgetown I think. Anybody been there recently, and/or have any ideas where the photo opportunities might lie? I'm probably going to take my new RB67 and a 35mm.

Unfortunately I used up more than my lifetime supply of Rum and other alcoholic beverages over 10 years ago. Now just part of a hazy memory of a misspent youth - and middle age come to think of it!

Great wood-termites won't eat it above ground, toredos won't eat it in jetty piles underwater.Greenheart houses with purpleheart floors are really very appealing.

This assignment came through, so I'm going at the end of the month, for a 14 day stay. I've never been there before, but from the reading I've done I see it's a very corrupt place with a high incidence of violent crime. I think I'll leave the RB67 behind and just take my FM2 and F65

Wouldn't the RB be better protection - hit someone with that, and they will stay down

The RB67 has a lot of inertia, and it takes too long to get it up to speed!
