The Spruill Art Center in Atlanta is pleased to offer a 2 1/2 day Gum over Cyanotype (aka Tri-Color gum) workshop with Don Bryant.

This course presents an opportunity to learn how to make expressive color prints from digital inkjet negatives using the combination of two antiquarian printing process, gum dichromate and cyanotype. Course topics include paper selection , mixing water colors with gum, application of the pigmented gum emulsion, and creation of image files using Adobe Photoshop. Each student should bring to the first class room session, a well exposed color negative, color transparency, or digital image file. A demonstration of the process will be followed by the students creating their own prints. $50 Lab fee PAYABLE WITH REGISTRATION. Class meets: Friday July 13th, 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Sat, Sun 7/14-7/15 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Fee for non members: $170
Fee for members: $150
