To take a contrarian view, I'll be interested if anyone really saves any money. I ordered one of the stopclocks back in December of 05, it arrived at my office here on the left coast usa in like 5 days. Sure, the shipping was more than B&H, but you guys are gonna pay a portion of the shipping from England to USA, and then from Pennsylvania to your home, and I don't see you saving much unless Bill is forwarding it on to you for free. I don't know how RH is packaging, if there are for instance 4 units in one box, Bill will have to break out and ship for more boxes, take the time to go ship them, and I'm sure you'll want to have them shipped insured, etc....

I'll keep watching

Goodies are Shipping

The goodies will be shipped from England on Monday June 26th. Once I receive everything I will PM everyone with the final balances that will be due.
BTW kudos to Richard at RH Designs as he was able to get it all in one box saving us a total of nearly 200 GBP in shipping costs.

Bill

The Goodies Have Arrived !!!!

The package made its way safely across the pond. I will notify everyone of the final amounts due once I have the domestic shipping charges figured out. My plan is to have everything ready to be shipped out by the end of the week which would be July 7th. Items will be shipped as soon as I receive the balances due.

Regards,
Bill

How about the day late and dollar short people?

Bill,

I was describing the magic of post-exposure flashing to Dianna and launching into a detailed description of how I could make something from a pen light, half a ping-pong ball and some other stuff to save a few bucks and it went something like this:

Dianna: wait... how much does one of those things cost?

me: uh... about a hundred dollars.

Dianna: ...and how much time are you proposing to spend cobbling this together? Don't you have, like, a thousand things on your queue already?

me: well... uh...

Dianna: I think it's worth a hundred dollars not to have to make one.
So seeing as how we're doing the final light-tightening of our darkroom before being able to finally make prints, I'm starting to think about how I can be flash-ready.

For those of us who are a day late and a dollar short and missed out on this group buy, can someone tell me just what that flashing device was called so I can poke around on the net for one or if there are any domestic-to-the-US versions that are just as good?

From the way optimistic department, I don't suppose you ordered a surplus, did you Bill?
