Recieved my print from hywel today. I like the simple way the print looks the background does not distract from the men in the picture. Print nicely

Thanks

I received my print from Hywel as well. I agree with Randy. Hard to do a high key shot and have the rest look right also, but Hywel pulled it of nicely. My prints will be out in a couple of days.

I just got out of the darkroom... the prints are drying and later next week I'll do the sel toning, followed by a time being squashed. I should have the prints in the mail to my partners before the end of the month.

I just had time to receive a print from Hywel before I went offshore again. But I expect to get home this time, unlike last time. So I have a bunch of film I still haven't developed, as well as a few hundred negatives I still haven't printed. I should be able to find something usable there, I hope.

Hi,

My prints are ready, adress is written, today, I sent them to you.

It was a lot of work. I had a lot of fun and most of all satisfaction in doing something from start to the end entirely with my hands.
I hopy you enjoy! I hope I bring you good feelings

Please consider: I printed the picture with slightly more contrast and slightly lighter than previous versions. Every print I sent is different. One is slightly lighter, the other minimal darker. I did some burning, that is the cause. So, every print you get is unique.

kind regards, Dietmar

My prints are in the mail

The print arrived last week but I was just able to pick it up last night. A very nice print of Mt Ranier. I particularly like the lines of trees, and the detail in them. This is yet another print that my mom said if I wasn't going to do anything with she'd like for me to mat and frame for her...

Once again the poor sods in my group will have to wait a bit for my prints.

Work, concert, work, concert - and maybe I'll get something done after that.

I have received a print from Cara. A lot of effort went into it with some toxic toning in thiourea. Nicely printed!
I haven't had time to do any printing for this exchange yet, and for that I apologize. I have a bathroom that needs renovating, and I'm busy doing that pretty much 24/7. We live in a small house with only one bathroom, which makes it an interesting exercise in logistics...
I hope to get some time in the darkroom in the upcoming week, I actually have to get in there anyway to print a couple of print orders anyway, so I should have something by the end of the week.

I did print some images early May. But then, after a while I started to dislike them. They weren't actually sharp enough... Funny I didn't see this at once. Anyway. A week ago I print another negative and still like it. So, I have the photos, stamps and envelopes ready to go!

Thanks Travis,
That was the first exposure made with my new to me 19" red dot.
